About Kebo

We build a personal finance app for Latin America, and we build it in public.

What Kebo is

Kebo is a mobile app that puts your accounts, cards and everyday spending in one place. You record what you spend, set budgets you can actually keep, and let the app explain in plain language where the money went. It runs on iOS and Android, in Spanish, English and Portuguese. Around 200,000 people across more than 25 countries use it today. The app is free to download, with an optional paid tier for people who want more from it.

Why we build it

Most personal finance tools are designed somewhere else and translated afterwards. We wanted one that starts from how money actually works in Latin America: several accounts at once, cash that never reaches a bank statement, income that is not the same every month. We believe in latam/acc, the acceleration of the Latin American tech ecosystem, and the most useful thing we can do about it is build something people in the region genuinely want to open every day.

Built in the open

Kebo's source code is public on GitHub at kebo-ai/kebo. You can read exactly how your data is handled, open an issue when something is wrong, or send a pull request for the feature you are missing. We opened the code in December 2025, after a collaboration with Crafter Station around product engineering that is still going. Our community lives on Discord, where you can talk directly to the people who build the app.

Who we are

Kebo is built and operated by KEBO SOFWARE S.A.S, a company incorporated in Colombia. A small team ships the app, reads the support inbox and writes the changelog. If you want to reach us, the contact page lists every channel we actually watch.
